Chelsea's Mudryk Free to Play After Appeal Against Doping Ban The resolution of Mykhailo Mudryk's doping case is a relief for Chelsea and the Ukrainian winger himself.
Mudryk has been on the sidelines since November 2024, serving what was initially deemed to be a four year ban by the Football Association (FA) after testing positive for meldonium.
However, changes to the World Anti Doping Agency's technical document regarding meldonium have come into effect, which would not have flagged Mudryk's sample as containing an adverse amount of the substance had his test been conducted today.
